INESS is a shop for things that still taste of where they came from.
We started with honey because it is honest. It sets when it is meant to set. It darkens with the season. It refuses to be the same jar twice. That seemed a better foundation for a brand than a slogan.
INESS selects; it does not manufacture at scale. Honey is bottled as a natural food, not a supplement. Tea is leaf you can see. Pottery is thrown in a workshop that still uses a wheel. If a product cannot be explained in a few sentences without borrowing the language of a clinic, it does not belong here.
Quality, for us, is not a score. It is whether the honey still carries pollen, whether the tea infuses twice, whether the pot sits true on the table. Authenticity is the refusal to sand those qualities away for a more convenient shelf life.
Traditional character matters because someone made the object with their hands. The Horezu pieces we offer are not reproductions of a style — they are the style, still practised. Wooden tools are turned, not stamped. Linen is left undyed.
Trust is quieter. We pack from the UK, we write our delivery and returns in English you can use, and we will not tell you that honey will cure you. It will sweeten bread. That is enough.
The catalogue will grow — more honeys, more leaf, more work from the same workshops. It will not grow into a marketplace. If you are looking for everything, you are in the wrong house.
